A major market for Purolator Facet, Inc. is the design and manufacture of filters for the aerospace market.  Purolator Facet supplies filters and elements to OEM engine manufacturers, airframe manufacturers, and component manufacturers. Design and production capabilities include lube oil, fuel, transmission oil, and hydraulic oil filters, as well as acoustic media and air cleaners. FAA/PMA approved parts are available through our worldwide distribution network.  Purolator offers a line of Supplemental Type Certified Scavenge Lube Oil filter Kits for helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

A second major product line for Purolator Facet pertains to industrial hydraulics filtration.  Purolator Facet offers high pressure hydraulic filters, medium pressure hydraulic filters and low pressure hydraulic filters.  Replacement hydraulic filter cartridges are available, and can easily be cross referenced against competitive brands with Purolator Facet's on-line cross reference tool.  Filter media used in our cartridges includes glass fiber, cellulose and sintered metal.  In addition to hydraulic filters, Purolator Facet's line of industrial hydraulic products is rounded out with hydraulic breathers, suction strainers and differential pressure indicators and differential pressure switches.  Portable hydraulic filter carts can be used for the removal of particulate and water from contaminated hydraulic reservoirs and the filtration of bulk oil prior to the transfer into hydraulic reservoirs.  The service of hydraulic oil analysis is also available and allows Purolator Facet to make product recommendations from its hydraulic filter line.  These filters are readily available through our distribution network, which can be located using our on line distributor locator.

Another major product area for Purolator Facet is process filtration.  This broad coverage includes chemical process filters, cleanable filters, backwash filters, stainless steel filters, polymer filters, Nutsche filters, pharmaceutical process filters and self cleaning filters.  Purolator Facet specializes in the filtration of difficult materials and highly viscous fluids in critical applications.  Purolator Facet also manufactures specialty products for other processes.  In addition to cleanable filters; Purolator Facet, an integral part of Purolator Advanced Filtration, offers a complete line of wound cartridges, melt blown cartridges, and bag filters, pleated depth filters, depth filter sheets and modules for liquid process filtration. Filter media is yet another offering for Purolator Facet.  The company produces Microfil ® III disposable media.  Microfil ® III media elements are offered in standard grades of 1, 3, 6, 12, 20, and 25 microns. They are designed and tested to withstand 150 and 300 psid collapse pressure, while Hi-Collapse Microfil® III is designed to withstand 3,000 psid.  Another disposable media available from Purolator Facet is Micropleat® media.   Micropleat® media are made from resin-impregnated cellulose materials. The media are then pleated and assembled into economical Micropleat disposable elements.  Micropleat elements are rated at Beta = 2 and are available in standard grades of 5, 10, 20, and 40 microns. They are designed and tested to withstand 150 and 300 psid collapse pressure.

Purolator Facet cleanable media includes the following:   Poroplate® media, Poromesh® media, Poroloy® media, Porofelt® media and  Metaledge® media.
